Walking into a club for the first time can feel like a big deal. It does not need to be. Here is everything you need to know before your first visit to Sonny’s, from the door to last call.
At the door
Bring a valid driver’s license, state ID or passport. Everyone must be 21 or older, no exceptions. Our door staff is there to keep the room comfortable and safe for everyone, guests and entertainers alike.
Finding your spot
Sit at the bar if you want to chat with the bartender, or grab a table near the stage for the best view. Afternoons are relaxed and a great time for a first visit. Evenings and weekends are livelier.
How tipping works
Bring cash. It is customary to tip entertainers when they perform on stage and when you enjoy a dance. Tip your bartender and servers as you would anywhere else. If you need cash, ask a staff member where to find it.
Private dances
An entertainer may stop by to say hello. You are always welcome to chat, accept a dance, or politely say no thanks. A private room starts with three songs for $100, and longer options are listed on our VIP Rooms page.
The VIP rooms
For more privacy, choose the Semi-Private Room, the curtained Celebrity Room, or the hidden Champagne Room. Prices are posted, so you always know the cost before you go in.
Club etiquette in four rules
- Look, enjoy, but do not touch unless invited.
- No photos or video inside the club.
- Be respectful to entertainers and staff.
- Pace yourself at the bar and plan your ride home.
